I can see the hand easily in the simpler model. What were you drawing in the more complex one? Also, sometimes the ‘lines’ seem to be made up of small blobs. Do you know why this is? Is it the angle of the printing?
The blobby bits happen when the line thickness is greater than the distance between the lines and they overlap, and detailed parts where the line backs onto itself this happens a lot.
